I've tried Douwe Egberts Medium roast, Dark roast, Folgers, Kona pods, and now this Cappuccino. I like Cappuccino the best. I like my coffee strong, and typically double up the pods to make one 4 ounce coffee. Cappuccino is aromatic, mild, yet flavorful. I don't need doubling up the pods to make favorful coffee.

Read the instruction, and don't make silly mistake like previous reviewer. These pods are supposed to be twice the size of standard pods. You have to use the double size holder for one Cappuccino pod!

These pods are basially a pod that's double the size of a normal Senseo pod as it includes creamer in the pod already. It's not quite the taste of an actual cappuccino, but the taste isn't bad. I would put the richness of the coffee somewhere in between the medium and dark roasts. Just keep in mind you won't be getting an exact cappuccino taste and you'll be happy.

When I first read these reviews, I was concerned with the wide disparity between the ratings. This caused me to go to my local Target store and pick up a 10-pack for about $4.00. I figured if the negative reviews were right, buying just 10 instead of the 40 pods you have to buy on Amazon, I wouldn't have an excess inventory of coffee pods on my hands.

Well, guess what, I like this flavor. I've tried all the Senseo flavored pods and I like this one the best. A couple of caveats, if you drink coffee black then be prepared for having a creamer-based substance in your coffee. I drink coffee both ways so this wasn't a problem for me. Second, MAKE SURE YOU PUSH THE SINGLE SERVING BUTTON . . .I noticed some of the negative reviews saying this flavor tasted watery . .well, I'm wondering if they pushed the two button serving instead of the one button serving . . .The only reason I'm suggesting this may be an issue is that this pod requires the TWO pod HOLDER even though it... This is replacing a 4 cup Melitta coffeemaker (couldn't find a replacement carafe that would fit the brewer, which sat atop the pot).
This appealed to me in that this product has the following good features:

1) no pot/carafe to crack or clean
2) no waste (since you didn't have to brew 1-3 cups to get 1 decent sized mug + waste)
3) no hot plate/pot to turn off - nothing to worry about if you started a brew and then were unexpectedly called away or forgot about it
4) no paper filters required (but see below)
5) looks interesting - doesn't look like a coffee maker, takes up less space on counter, easier to keep clean.

I read some reviews - good and bad- and decided to get it anyway. AM SO GLAD I DID- I REALLY LIKE THIS THING!

Reasons: 1)-4) above, plus:
5) water resevoir + filter assembly is dishwasher safe (top rack)

I have owned and used this product on a daily basis for almost 6 months now.

If you're anything like me, you enjoy a cup of coffee to help wake up in the morning. Notice I didn't say 12, or 10, or 8, or 4, or even 2 cups. Is it really that crazy of an idea to have a cheap coffee maker that can make only the ONE cup you want to drink? I was writhing over reviews of the 2-cup/2-travel mug coffee makers and their problems when I found this one. My thoughts: Looks cheap. Price IS cheap. Must be cheap. But there's little else, so... I guess I'll try it. Needless to say, I have accepted this little guy into my family.

Pros:
-One cup, no waste. You can make a cup with 8 to 14 oz. of water measured in the creatively graduated water reservoir. The first one of these we had was great! My wife made her tea and I made my coffee with it, and it produced excellent results. That lasted for about 5 months. Then it started to just pop and steam without pumping any water. Thinking it needed descaling, I tried that - - several times to no avail. So I finally called Hamilton Beach customer support, and at their direction sent in the cut off plug of my broken unit and $6.95 s/h. After several weeks, I received the replacement unit. It worked exactly one time before the spitting and steaming took over. I called H-B again, and this time they shipped a replacement unit immediately at no cost. It worked for exactly 2 cups before the exact same problem. Obviously there is a major flaw in the design of the water heating/pumping. Wish it worked!!!

I want to start out by saying, I usually dont drink coffee. It just takes so long to prepare, grind the beans, put the filter, water and wait... This machine is amazing, I put the water in, wait like 30 seconds and then move the lever to the right for hot water. BOOM. The drink is done and it's ready for your tasting pleasure. I got the RED machine because my KitchenAid mixer is Red so I figured I'd continue the color scheme. It's got a nice matte feel to it and everything compacts together with an easy to clean components. In the box, it came with a sampler of different drinks and plus if you register your product you get a free box of capsules (16 in total). I have to say I wish the water tank held more water but its okay. Overall, I would recommend this product to anyone in the market for a fast and delicious cup of joe.

Like the coffee maker. It's shape is unique and bright. The only set back that I can see ,has to be Nescafe coffee since they are the only ones that fit (k-2 cups won't fit). There is limited stores to get the coffee from and not a lot of variety in the coffee choices. It does make an excellent cup of coffee out of the choices available. Wish the coffee was available in more stores closer to where I live.

I really liked the product but I didn't know that I was the one who was supposed to stop the water. It makes everything harder since if you don't stop when you reach the correct ammount of water, you end up loosing your capsules.
